For the first time since BitGym officially launched as one of the first subscription fitness experiences on the iOS and Android app stores, we are revising the prices for our memberships to support an expansion in content development and extending the features in the app.
I already have a monthly/annual subscription. What happens to me?
You get to keep the legacy price you are paying now, as long as it is through your currently active BitGym account. Consider it our thanks for being a part of our journey thus far.
Note that if you are on an Apple App Store based subscription, once cancelled, renewing the subscription will only be available at the latest price. In this case, get in touch with us over support, and we will instruct you on getting the old price via direct-to-BitGym subscription.
I have a monthly/annual subscription. How do I switch to the other, and what price will I get?
If you visit your profile, Manage Subscription, cancel your existing one, and then join at the other plan tier before 01:00AM 1 February 2020 PST, your next renewal will be of the new plan type, with the legacy price. If you wish to change your plan immediately, just open a support ticket with us and we will take care of this for you by immediately changing your plan type, and giving you prorated refund from which your new plan will be paid for.
If I cancel my subscription, and want to renew later, will I have to pay the full new price?
As long as you renew with the same account and using the same subscription period that you cancelled, you can keep the legacy price. However, if you switch form monthly to annual or vice versa, the account will lose legacy status.
I am still on a free account and thinking of subscribing. When does the new price come into effect?
The new price will affect accounts that begin a subscription after 01:00AM 1 February 2020 PST.
