From version 3.2 onwards, you can use BitGym in the following languages:
🇬🇧 English, 🇫🇷 French, 🇩🇪 German, 🇮🇹 Italian, 🇪🇸 Spanish, 🇵🇱 Polish.
BitGym detects the language setting on your device and switches to it on launch if it is one of these languages. In other cases it will continue to be in English.
If you changed your language setting recently, make sure to fully close BitGym and then restart the app or restart your device.
On iOS you can change the language setting specifically for BitGym from Settings -> BitGym.
Current status of BitGym's multilingual functionality
Localization in BitGym is an ongoing project.
All languages are currently supported in the following ways:
- Immersive tour "trail facts"
- Coached tour subtitles
- Tour descriptions
- In-app user interface: buttons, warnings & messages
- Subscription management profile
- Billing emails and notices
- BitGym website
- Technical support (assisted by Google Translate)
If a feature listed as supported in your language above isn't displaying correctly, has an error, or is still in English, please file a ticket with us.
Known limitations with using BitGym in different languages.
The following are only available in English:
- Tour names (locations)
- Coached tour audio
- Helpdesk articles
We are working towards supporting these in all listed languages.
There currently is no way to manually set the language within BitGym, it is set only by selecting your system language.
There are currently no known bugs or limitations in functionality caused by using BitGym in a different language. If you suspect you have encountered something that works when your device language is English but not in your language, please let us know via a ticket.
